Planned Parenthood closed its doors after their abortionists, who are flown in from other states, refused to work under the new law that went into effect last Friday. The law orders abortionists to inform patients of the humanity of their babies and that the procedure could affect their mental health two hours before the abortion is set to be performed. The law also provides that abortionists can be sued if they do not comply.

This law was the brain-child of attorney Harold Cassidy and passed with the help of determined pro-life leaders Dr. Alan and Leslee Unruh, who pushed for the regulation in the face of opposition, even from some in the pro-life movement. The Eighth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals cleared the way for the law's enactment last week.

I am thankful to God for His Mercy for the souls of these women and babies!!!! I pray and I ask all of you who read this blog to pray that the state of South Dakota continues to be an abortion free state and that the other 49 states follow suit.

Our family is going to South Dakota this summer - we will be there for three days...and I will be so happy to be in a state that no longer permits the abortion industry to self their services with only HALF the information instead of full disclosure.

Excuse me while I go and do a HAPPY DANCE!

This law will be challenged in court, and under the present liberal social climate, in all likelihood struck down. However, for now, we have hope - and at least a temporary victory - reminding us of our ULTIMATE victory if we don't lay down and quit.

Now is the time to be writing SD legislators to thank them for this law and reminding them of our prayerful support.
