My son's son ...
Arrived October 2. He is beautiful ... I give thanks for his life, for his birth and for his parents being courageous enough, even though counseled to abort him, to ignore the doctor's advice and to bring him into this world.
The saying "like father like son" rings true with this pair...my son's mother was counseled to abort my son. She did not. He was born a mere 10 months after his brother. The mother of my grandson was also counseled to terminate the precious life that she held within her womb. She did not.
Abortion is never the answer to any pregnancy - whether a sibling is a mere ten months older than another, whether the parents are married, whether the child is wanted by his parents...
Each life is precious, unique and wonderfully made and today I give thanks in a very special way that abortion did not touch the life of my son and of his son. I pray that Vince Alexander will have sons, too. Hurray for LIFE!

Very nice. I would have to agree with you on the abortion thing, but the argument is always. "What if the woman got raped" Should she have to raise that child? I think everyone would agree that she should not. It would remind her everyday.
Oh well very nice post mate.
check out my blog too!
If a woman was raped...
When is a person not a person?
Adoption is a very real and loving option if a woman does not wish to raise a child conceived in rape.
Every person has the right to be born.
I am so happy for your son and for you.
Very happy for you!
Keep up your fight to save the babies! My grandson was murdered by his mother. This is a devastating loss. His name was Adam and he would have had a God-given life. He would have brought joy into hearts, and smiles to many faces. But she stole that away because she was too selfish to even think about someone else raising him if she couldn't. A life is a life at the moment of conception. To all of those out there that think the baby should suffer death because of the rapist that produced him, that's ignorance. There's too many people willing to adopt. Live and let live. Remember, abortion is murder. It's the taking of a life. There's no way to justify the act. I'm one grandson short. The world is one man short. There's an entire family that will never exist because Adam won't be here to create them.
Kelline - your profile shows you to be a young woman, so I am confused as to who wrote your post.
I am very sorry that your grandson was lost to abortion. I also know that with God there is no condemnation and that the loss of your grandson to this life is also a loss to Him, who loves us so.
I encourage you to call Rachel's Vineyard, a post abortive healing ministry, Christian healing for some assistance with the wounds and pain that the loss of Adam has brought. Their number is 877 HOPE FOR ME.
Please keep loving your daughter - she is hurting tremendously, too. God Bless you
God bless you.
chimakuni-I totally agree with you!! I was 16 when I had my abortion! It was one of the most horrible days of my life! The person hardest to forgive is myself. I know I am forgiven because God told me I was, but forgiving myself is harder! Do I miss the child that I terminated? Everyday!!!! Deeply!!! But I know that one day I will be reunited with my child! What a glorious day that will be!
Hi Butterfly - yes, your reunion with you child will be joyous. If you have not already done so, I recommend you attend a Rachel's Vineyard retreat.http://www.rachelsvineyard.org/. God Bless
great post ^_^
it is the most beautiful gift that not everyone can feel it ... congratulations you are one of those who got lucky ...

You are so correct "Healthy Info" ... not all of us receive the beautiful gift of life. I count my blessings that although I did not give birth to my sons, God graced me with three (through adoption) to raise. I pray for you, that you will know the blessings of children in your life.
I blog frequently and I truly appreciate your content. The article has truly peaked my interest. I am going to bookmark your website and keep checking for new information about once per week. I subscribed to your Feed as well.
