During a Monday town hall event, pro-abortion Rep. Zoe Lofgren, a California Democrat, acknowledged that the Congressional bills include abortion funding.

"Abortion will be covered as a benefit by one or more of the healthcare plans available to Americans, and I think it should be," she said.

Let me get this right - my personal beliefs should be trumped by the current decisions being made in government regarding my paying for a woman to kill her own child while it is still in her womb?

Abortion is not health care - abortion is the deliberate dismembering of an innocent human being. Abortion is not healthy for the mother, sometimes deadly and definitely always deadly for the baby.

Many women have felt that they had no choice - that they had to abort their babies due to the pressure they felt from those around them, from medical personnel telling them that their baby would not be able to survive if it was born, by economic reasons, by trying to keep the pregnancy a secret ... there are as many different reasons for aborting a baby as their are the mothers that aborted them.

We can do better, America! We need to be compassionate to the men and women who have aborted their babies - who felt they had no choice. We must not pay for any women to kill her baby - we can support them in their decision to either keep their baby or give their baby up for adoption - but pay to kill their baby? No, never.

Health care does not include the killing of the most innocent among us - no, that is not "care" that is evil ...
