Slap in the face

I read that Archbishop Wilton Gregory had this to say about the election of Barak Obama as president elect of the United States of America. "a great step forward for humanity and a sign that in the United States the problem of racial discrimination has been overcome." It got my blood to BOILING!!!!

So, this is a letter I wrote to the Archbishop. I hope I got the address correct - I hope that he somehow, please Lord, reads it, I hope that he responds to me. I hope that he will realize that he has injured so many who are facing abortion as an alternative, who are post abortive, and that he is directly in contradiction to Holy Mother Church on his lauding of a man who is a promoter of genocide and infanticide. URGH!!!

Dear Excellency:

I have read, with dismay, your quote on the election of Barak Obama to the presidency of the United States of America. While it is true that Barak Obama is the first man of color to be the president elect of this great nation of ours, it is also true that Mr. Obama is one hundred percent pro-abortion, with approval ratings of one hundred percent from NARAL and Planned "death"hood.

As a post abortive woman, Your Excellency, and one who is a convert to Holy Mother Church, your lauding Mr. Obama is a slap in the face to me.

The fact that one out of every two black children in the United States is currently aborted is not racial equality, but indeed racial discrimination and Mr. Obama is a promoter of such discrimination. We have NOT taken a great step forward for humanity, instead we have taken a very dangerous step back into slavery for millions and millions of unborn children.

I pray that you will revisit your statement and be mindful of the Church's teachings that all abortion is intrinsically evil and should never be participated in. By lauding Mr. Obama, you have participated in his promotion of abortion.

I cannot believe how wrong this all is, Your Excellency.
